If your fitness program is not giving you the results that you want, it may be because you aren't consistent. Maybe you only go to the gym every now and then. Consistency over time will always yield results. So how do you build that consistency?
One great way is to wake up at the same time every morning. Yes, even on Sunday. This will teach your body that you mean business. Workout before you do anything else. It will be hard at first, but eventually your body will get used to it and wake up automatically.
Create a morning routine you can do blindfolded and with your hands tied behind your back. Seriously, you may be only half awake, but your body needs that routine. With any luck you'll be at the gym before you even fully wake up. Create a routine that gets you into an inspired state of mind. Whether this includes breathing, yoga, simple movements, or affirmations, get your body and mind ready.
People reach their goals because they keep reminding themselves that their goals are there, and that they are indeed reachable. Set yourself up with consistent routines that will jumpstart you to your goal.
