Eating healthy is all about balance. I have been using a 50-25-25 ratio on my plate. 50% of my plate is a nice healthy salad, totally vegan. 25% of my plate is a starchy carb. And 25% of my plate is a protein-rich food (chicken pictured above). Use eggs (below) for a vegetarian option. If you're trying to eat vegan, put your sprouts in this protein category.
